The President (2012-2017) Rosen Plevneliev participated in the conference by the Vienna Economic Forum "Sofia Talks 2018" which was held under the motto "Politics meets the economy" in the National Palace of Culture. The event was attended by regional leaders from the Western Balkans, together with representatives of the regional, European and international economy. The main focus of the discussion was regional cooperation as part of European integration. Participation in the forum took Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU Lilyana Pavlova and EU Commissioner Maria Gabriel.
