The President (2012-2017) Rosen Plevneliev took part in the Beijing Summit, organized by the International Center "Nizami Gandjavi". Heads of state and government from different countries, leading Chinese politicians, scientists and researchers discussed China's new role in international relations and the prospects of the “One Belt, One Road" initative. Plevneliev addressed the participants at the forum's opening and took part in a panel on "China's contribution to global security". Within the summit Rosen Plevneliev held numerous bilateral meetings with politicians from all over the world.
